Academic Year Programmes

(25 weeks programme + 8 weeks holidays):  The Academic Year Programme is specifically designed for Non EU/EEA students who wish to follow a 25-week full-time Standard programme in English while also taking the opportunity to travel and work in Ireland.

Students who study for a minimum of 25 weeks and attend a course of a minimum of 15 hours per week are allowed to stay in Ireland for one 8-month year. Students are allowed to work part-time for 20 hours per week during their studies and during their holiday period they may work up to 40 hours per week.

Academic Year Programme - AY-IELTS

Academic Year Programme - AY-CAE

13 weeks x GE-20 + 12 weeks x CAE-20

Levels Available   B2 (Intermediate) to C1 (Advanced)

REQUIREMENTS for Academic Year students:

Students must register for and sit a recognised end-of course exam such as Cambridge or IELTS examinations. Before registration with GNIB, you must pay a €200 exam fee to the school which we can use later when registering you for the appropriate end-of-course exam when registration dates are available.

Students must purchase a valid medical insurance. Students can purchase MediCover Emergency Medical Insurance through Limerick Language Centre which is accepted by the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB).
